This week we finally slow down significantly, listening more closely to our emotions, dreams, and desires. Day by day, our attention shifts more and more from thinking to feeling.
After the previous dynamic week, it's time for peace and long-awaited rest. While the beginning of the week is still more focused on action, with each day we move more and more towards being. There is a stronger emphasis on feeling inside, finding what is pleasant, inspiring, but also on more social entertainment, nice time together, conversations about dreams, new ideas, great ideas. Towards the end of the week, however, intellectual topics fade into the background, and we are more occupied by matters of all kinds of relationships, memories, and experiences. We seek beauty, harmony, and peace. We see gates where before we saw only walls.
Most important aspects of the week:
All dates and times are given in UTC+2 time zone
Mercury meets Venus - 17.06, felt from 14.06 to 20.06
The Sun enters Cancer - 20.06 and stays until 22.07
Mercury sextiles Mars - 21.06, felt from 19.06 to 23.06
The meeting of Mercury and Venus takes place at the very beginning of Cancer, just after both planets change zodiac signs.
This is a strong start to the transition from a period when most planets were in the intellectual, fast Gemini, to the flowing, emotional time of Cancer. The meeting of Venus and Mercury itself increases our interest in intellectual entertainment, peaceful exchange of ideas and news, but also helps us appreciate the beauty and aesthetics of what surrounds us. It is easier for us to express our own opinions and emotions, but also to notice the emotions of others at the same time. Because Cancer strengthens both feeling and memory, we can look at the events of recent weeks a little differently and see better what has actually happened from an emotional level, as well as what we need now in our relationship with ourselves and others.
The Sun's entry into Cancer, or the Summer Solstice, ends spring and begins summer.
It is the longest day of the year and the shortest night. A time to search for the fern flower and a moment when nature reaches full bloom. From this day on, we will slowly move towards ripening and harvesting, but for now we are entering a moment of respite between intensive sowing and deserved harvesting. On the one hand, we look back nostalgically at the past, summarizing the last few months, and on the other hand, we take care of ourselves and our loved ones, seeing the importance of our own and others' emotions. From this emotional point of view, we also see the future differently, and inner feeling and intuition can motivate us to take different paths than we had previously planned intellectually. It is worth using this time to strengthen ourselves and our relationships, to take care of what needs care and to recharge our batteries with full solar power.
Mercury in sextile with Mars is a time of agreement between the mind recalling and considering emotions and pragmatic, consistent action.
Whatever new things have emerged from the sphere of emotions, around this day it will be easiest to put into action and push forward. It is also worth taking advantage of this moment to catch up on any backlogs and put new ideas into motion. However, do not count on quick results, as both Mercury in Cancer and Mars in Taurus act in the long term and usually choose the longer, but more certain and richer path.
