Weekly Astrological Forecast for 22nd-28th of June: Voices from the Deep

The upcoming week promises to be another tranquil one, continuing the mood of a sleepy summer start, inward reflection, and being over doing.

The pace of events is slowing down from week to week. We've already had the exciting events of this month behind us, and now is finally a time of calm to put our thoughts, relationships, and plans in order. If we still need time to recover from previous weeks, now is the time when cosmic energies are giving us that time. Another week of rest, enjoying the summer, and all the pleasures it brings is coming up.

In the second half of the week, the slow pace may start to irritate those who need action. However, you'll have to wait a little longer before things start moving again, so I recommend catching the energy of the full moon that's happening this weekend and enjoying it while it lasts. There will be plenty of time for recovery afterwards.

Key Aspects of the Week:

All dates and times are given in UTC+2 time zone

  1. Full Moon in Capricorn - June 22nd

  2. Mercury Trine Saturn - June 26th, felt from June 25th to 28th

  3. Mercury Square Chiron - June 28th, felt from June 27th to 30th

Full Moon in Capricorn

The Full Moon in Capricorn is a time when plans take shape, and inner feelings and processes have tangible results in the external world. The ideas sown two weeks ago, during the New Moon in Gemini, are especially pronounced, and it is during the Full Moon that they can take real shape. It is also a time when there is still a lot of room for dreams, considering options, and course correction. Let's treat this moment as a flash of rational clarity after the hazy and sleepy days full of Neptunian energy that took place just before the full moon. However, this does not mean that we should put our dreams aside; on the contrary, they will show us the direction, and the full moon will only make it easier for us to understand the message they convey.

Mercury Trine Saturn

The Mercury-Saturn trine slows down our thinking so that we can go deeper and feel more rather than just skim over with our thoughts. Mercury in Cancer looks at emotions, feelings, and the past, while Saturn in Pisces tries to structure what goes beyond form. Together, they give us an extraordinary opportunity to get in touch with what's swirrling inside us, to better understand our own emotions, and also to see the emotional layer of everything that happens around us. Their connection also brings an element of slowing down, and although our thinking remains clear and agile, it does not translate into external action. It is worth using this time to get to know ourselves and others better and to check whether the direction we are heading in life is in line with what we have inside. If, as a result of these considerations, we make a decision to change, whether in our inner selves or in our external lives, Mercury and Saturn won't rush us too much in implementing them.

Mercury Square Chiron

The Mercury-Chiron square is a moment when, looking inside, we find a painful spot. Chiron in Aries tells of actions that hurt, of situations in which spontaneous self-expression wounds us and others. However, it also shows us how to turn these wounds into a force that can make the world a better place. Mercury in the emotional sign of Cancer finds it difficult to see Chiron's deeper lesson, as it is very clearly aware of the suffering present on an emotional level. On the day of the square, we may therefore feel difficult emotions more strongly and have trouble seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. However, that's why we're in this tunnel, to find that light. Suffering crushes us, breaks our hearts, but the light of compassion and mercy is able to enter our world only through a broken heart. And that's what Chiron is trying to teach us.
